With art through life no. 2 - Interview with Black Jeans band

„With art through life" is a project realized at District Hall Warsaw in cooperation with Art 73. In the second meeting of this series, our guests were Adam Kalinowski and Łukasz Szczęsny.

The team was founded in the fall of 2017 after Łukasz Szczęsny invited Adam Kalinowski - the finalist of the 5th edition of the IDOL program to cooperate.

On June 13, 2019, the band's debut album was released. "Generation Y" released in the self-publishing model. It is a concept album that tells the story of Mr. Why, a symbolic representative of the title generation Y. Sebastian Piekarek and Marcin Trojanowicz were responsible for the album's musical production. The line-up of the band: Adam Kalinowski - vocals, Łukasz Szczęsny - guitar, Paweł Janiga - guitar, Marcin Trojanowicz - keyboards, Paweł Grudniak - bass, Bartek Pawlus - drums.

In 2018-2019, the Black Jeans band performed in front of artists such as Perfect, Róże Europy, Enej, Andrzej Piaseczny and Jula. Adam Kalinowski is a singer and guitarist performing rock, hard rock, acoustic, pop rock, grunge, pop music. He comes from Łomża, and since 2014 he has also been active on the Tri-City music scene. He is the Finalist of The Voice of Poland XI (2020, 2nd place), Idol (2017, 5th place) and the last edition of Bitwa na Głosy (2012, 5th place). He regularly gives concerts mainly in the Tri-City and the whole country.
